Rose bushes

Small in size, the bush rose barely exceeds 1 meter in height. Ideal for embellishing your garden, the bush rose can magnify a bed or flourish as an isolated element. To maintain your rose bush, prune it at the end of winter, in late January or early February, to regulate its size, encourage flowering and refresh its growth. The bush rose, king of the flowerbed

A dense, branched habit, giving it a generous, bushy silhouette: this is the charm of the bush rose.
Rose lovers particularly appreciate its rich flowering, from the top to the bottom of the bush.
The bush rose is the type of rose most commonly found in gardens. Single or double roses, in clusters or spaced out, remontant or not: there are a multitude of bush roses to choose from. It's up to you to choose the one best suited to your bed, hedge or pot on a terrace or balcony, or to make pretty bouquets!

Ground cover roses

Some shrub roses are also effective ground cover roses.
This is the case with the Ariel ground cover rose, created by André Eve, which is robust and very floriferous, with pretty clusters of light pink, semi-double flowers. Very remontant, it blooms 7 months out of 12. In the same spirit, discover the Myriam, Courir pour Elles ground-cover rose, bright pink and never diseased.
Let's also mention the Rosée du matin rose, very floriferous and delicately scented, and, for lovers of double flowers, The Fairy rose.
There are many other ground-cover roses. Discover them as you browse our site.

Planting and care

For bare-root roses, plant from November to March, before frost.
Potted roses can be planted all year round. However, avoid periods of heatwave.
Follow our advice for successful planting.

In terms of maintenance, bush roses are generally pruned in January-February, or even March - in colder regions.
The first step is to clean up: remove dead and diseased branches, weak stems, etc. Then, a flared cut is generally preferred for bush roses, to aerate the center.
