The rambling rose has sarmentose branches that enable it to cling to various types of support (walls, pergolas, trees, etc.). The rambler rose, whether remontant or not, can grow up to 10 m high. Reaching heights of up to 10 meters, the rambler rose is a vigorous, fast-growing plant.
Creeping roses are ideal for covering large surfaces: an entire wall, a large pergola, a dead tree... But you can also use them as ground cover.
Most rambler roses, like Apple Blossom, are single-flowered and very abundant. But there are a few remontant rambler roses, such as Guirlande Fleurie, or Albert La Blottais, whose fragrant flowers bloom again in autumn.
Not all rambler roses are thorny. Some, like the Alexandre Girault rambler, are almost inerminable.
