How to choose between containers and bare roots

It's actually quite simple. Without soil, a plant can only survive when it stops growing. This period of dormancy corresponds to winter. Bare-root roses, kept in cold storage, are only sold from November to March/April.

Containerized (potted) roses with potting soil at the base, whether or not they are in winter, and whether or not they are dormant, can be planted all year round!

Whether planted in containers or bare-rooted, roses should be watered once a week with 10 liters of water, throughout the summer following planting.
