Pierre de Ronsard: a well-known rosebush

Who hasn't heard of the rose with the magic name, the best-selling climber? In 1986,Meilland created the climbing rose Pierre de Ronsard. This modern hybrid is no less reminiscent of the charm of old roses, with its large, compact, well-formed flowers. Romantic, globular and very double, they are a soft pink, more intense at the heart, standing out against glossy, robust green foliage.
The Pierre de Ronsard rose quickly established itself in our gardens. Until its ultimate consecration. In 2006, it received the most important distinction awarded to a rose: the World Favourite Rose, awarded by the World Federation of Rose Societies.

Why choose the Pierre de Ronsard rose?

In addition to its undeniable charm, this climbing rose is very easy to grow and resistant to the cold.
It blooms exceptionally well. It flowers all year round, in waves, from June to the first frosts.
Choose it to cover a wall, a column, a garden arch... This climbing rose can reach up to 3 m in height. You can also create charming bouquets.
The fragrance of Ronsard roses is discreet and reminiscent of tea roses.
