How to choose between container and bare roots?
A magnificent, fragrant flower that prefers sun to rain, to be planted in a warm, sunny spot. Very large, quartered blossoms with many fine, tight petals, carmine pink with ivory highlights and a fruity fragrance. It blooms in late spring, but is even more beautiful in autumn, although more discreet. It is excellent at higher altitudes, where its thicker petals are more resistant to rot than on the plains in humid climates.
