A rose for an association

It bears the name of an association founded by Christine Janin, a doctor and mountaineer who was the first woman to reach the roof of the world: Mount Everest. Her unfailing energy led her and other Parisian doctors to create : À chacun son Everest, to help children suffering from cancer and, more recently, women in remission from breast cancer. The association's aim is to give everyone the means to reach their Everest: the path to recovery.

The rose was christened at the "Jardins, jardin" event last June, in the presence of numerous members. The pleasantly fragrant, single flowers, broadly streaked red with white, follow one another without let-up from June to frost. This disease-resistant variety has an added bonus: its compact growth makes it ideal for pot cultivation.

This climbing rose has won numerous awards in : 2016 in Hradec Kralove, 2015 in Paris Bagatelle, Monza, Baden-Baden, 2014 in Rome, Le Roeulx.

This small climbing rose, 2.50 m to 3 m tall, is ideal for small spaces (fences, pergolas, columns). When trained on a simple 2.50 m stake, it forms a magnificent flowering column. Its high resistance to disease means it requires minimal maintenance throughout the season. If you don't remove the deflowered bunches in June, the rose will be covered in autumn with a multitude of round, orange decorative fruits
