One of the best-scented old roses. Without doubt the most beautiful rose in the Portland family. Upright, vigorous habit with attractive, light-green foliage. Beautifully shaped buds, opening to a lilac-pink, very double flowers with rolled petals, often quartered. Sublime fragrance. Needs a little fertilizer to express its qualities even better.
