This modern hybrid rose was created by Michel Adam. Its powerful, heady fragrance won it the Grand Prix International du Parfum in 1991.
The Grand Huit bush produces large, double turbinate flowers of a magnificent velvety red, set off by its dark green foliage. Very remontant, it blooms from May to October.
Vigorous, floriferous and disease-resistant, it is particularly popular with novice gardeners. The Grand Huit bush also has excellent resistance to cold (-15°C).
The Grand Huit bush rose and its upright habit can stand on their own: it's a rose that can be planted as an isolated element in your garden, or kept in a pot.
You can also make the most of it in a bed, with other roses or flowering shrubs. Think of associating it with the color blue, or with other less invasive climbers such as clematis.
