Its delicious, fruity, powerful fragrance and superb pale pink flowers, in quarters somewhere between Portland and Hybrid remontant, prompted us to introduce you to it. Another special feature: its prickles are red. The only drawback is its slight susceptibility to disease (black spots), which can be controlled by a few preventive treatments with sulfur or bouillie boudelaise.
