The Académie d'Orléans is the prestigious heir to the Société Royale d'Agriculture, founded under the reign of Louis XV, and the Académie Royale de Physique, d'Histoire naturelle et des Arts. In October 2014, it exceptionally hosted the meeting of the Conférence nationale des Académies, under the aegis of the Institut de France. To celebrate this event, we decided to name a rose after her. This rose, with its compact habit and dark green, disease-resistant foliage, produces superb, double, pure yellow, pleasantly fragrant flowers from June to frost.
