Geranium himlayense Gravetye is distinguished by the intense, purplish-blue, red-veined color of its flowers, which are clearly visible above the foliage. It forms a cushion 30 cm high and wider. It flowers for a long time, from May to July. Deciduous, cleaning out the previous year's leaves will help new ones to appear. Suitable for all well-drained soils, in sun or part shade. In the garden, it makes an attractive ground cover, with its bright blue flowers contrasting with yellow roses or combining with shades of pink and white roses.
