Coreopsis are real little suns in the garden. They prefer soil that's not too dry, otherwise they have no requirements whatsoever, as long as they're in full sun. C. verticillata Grandiflora grows to 70 cm and forms a clump of fine, dense foliage topped with abundant golden-yellow stars from June to September. It is a perennial with a tracer rhizomatous stump.
