The creator of this variety was an Austrian woman, Felicitas Svedja, who emigrated to Canada in the 50s. She devoted much of her breeding work to finding varieties resistant to very low temperatures. After 'Martin Frobisher', 'Jens Munk' and 'David Thompson', we now bring you 'John Davis'. This large shrub with a very supple, almost inert habit has a spectacular first bloom with clusters of semi-double, spicy-scented pink flowers. It comes up fairly well during the summer.
