Its light garnet petals undulate like muslin. The flower opens onto a flamboyant calyx of golden stamens. Simple, velvety and sensual. Its stems are covered with small, mossy bristles. Beautiful, healthy foliage, almost black at the end of autumn, sets off a beautiful fructification.
