Little story
The rose was christened in June 2019 at Château du Rivau, to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, who ended his life not far from Amboise.
On this occasion, Fabienne Thibault, one of the two godmothers, accompanied the event with her good humor and magnificent voice

Care and maintenance of the Génie Léonard shrub rose
Very easy to grow, the Génie Léonard shrub rose doesn't require much maintenance. All it needs is sufficient sunlight (4 to 5 hours a day minimum), regular watering (especially in the first few years) and a little fertilizer.
