Little story
The christening of the Roseraie de Morailles® rosebush
Morailles remains dear to the hearts of the Roses Anciennes André Eve team. Today, the site is cultivated and the garden maintained by the Jardins de la Voie Romaine association, with the help of volunteers from the 3000 ans d'histoire à Pithiviers-le-Vieil association. The company decided to name a rose in tribute to its former garden. Its godmother Cathy, the site's director, and Philippe Chaline, the town's mayor, celebrated the naming ceremony with emotion, symbolizing the strong bonds of friendship between past and present.

This pretty shrub rose was created in 2011, and has since proved all its qualities. Its embossed foliage reflects its rough rose origins, from which it has inherited its robustness and hardiness. It blooms in large clusters of semi-double, fresh pink flowers with a strong fragrance. Its rather supple, ample habit gives it a country look that blends perfectly with a rose garden such as the one created by André Eve and which today gives this rose its name.
