Awarded in competitions
2010: Orléans: Certificate of Merit
2011: Paris - Bagatelle: 1st prize
Moraya Rouge® is the first variety in our new collection of landscape roses, created by Jérôme Rateau in 2010.
The large, semi-double flowers form a luminous red bouquet, fading beautifully afterwards to create a surprising cameo of red. The rose has beautiful, glossy, dark-green foliage, crenellated like that of the very floriferous holly, and is remontant. It will be in bloom from May to October.
Moraya Rouge® will reach a height of around 70 cm, with a drooping habit.
First prize in the 2011 Paris Bagatelle landscape competition, after 3 years' study, for exceptional disease resistance.
It's a versatile rose that can be used anywhere, depending on the size of the plant: as ground cover, in a bed, on a shrub or on an embankment. Highly resistant to disease, it is also ideal for urban settings and needs no treatment.
This red rose is not sensitive to extreme cold, and can easily withstand winters down to -15°C.
