The story of the rose Pierre Perret:

"My fingers have plucked so many roses, that to speak of love again I dare not". Pierre Perret and his wife Rebecca adore roses. Often mentioned in his songs, their garden is full of them! A few years ago, André Eve suggested he name a rose Pierre Perret. He was delighted to accept, and to be patient despite requests from other creators, saying mischievously: "André, hurry up and find it, I'm not eternal. I wouldn't like it if, one day, you christened a rose 'Souvenir de Pierre Perret'!

Pierre Perret: a fragrant yellow rose bush

Jérôme Râteau, our hybridizer, has created this magnificent rose full of qualities, in the image of Pierre Perret: a cheerful color, a cameo of intense yellow that lightens during flowering, an elegant flower full of simplicity, a very generous bloom that will bloom three times if the weather permits.

The Pierre Perret bush rose has excellent disease resistance, as well as a powerful lemongrass fragrance, without which a rose isn't really a rose...

Ideal for adding color to your beds, Pierre Perret bush roses can be combined with red roses such as Prestige de Bellegarde®, or with blue or violet companion plants.
