The province of Yen Baï in Vietnam and the department of Val-de-Marne celebrated the 20th anniversary of their cooperation. This partnership is the continuation of a historic link, since the town of Choisy-le-Roi welcomed the Vietnamese delegation that came to negotiate the Paris Peace Accords signed in 1973. After noting the interest shown by representatives of this province in the rose garden at L'Haÿ-les-Roses, the département asked for a rose to be named 'Yen Baï', symbolizing the bond of friendship that unites the two territories and their people. The superb quartered flowers, with their perfect old rose look and apricot hues, exude a remarkable fragrance. The bush is also highly resistant to disease. Plant in beds or pots, and don't forget to pick a few flowers for charming country bouquets.
