"Following on from 'Rosée du matin'®, which won a prize at the Paris Bagatelle competition in 2012, this collection features roses that are as disease-resistant as they are long-flowering. It is named after Philippe Starck, the famous designer who is particularly fond of the color white. It was christened on Saturday June 1, 2013 as part of Jardins Jardin aux Tuileries. This free-growing landscape rose is covered with a multitude of graceful, semi-double white flowers, delicately scented from June to frost. Highly resistant to disease, it will delight the growing number of gardeners who want to avoid treatments. Philippe Starck told us at the christening: "It's really lovely and charming that, in this day and age, there are still people who create flowers, who create emotion and romance. What I love, as someone who is fascinated by the timelessness of things, is to have a small gateway, however small, into the plant world, because plants have always been charged with a great deal of eternity "
