The Heidi H. rose was christened at our open house in June 2024 in the presence of its godmother, Heidi Herrmann. The story of this rose is a beautiful one, illustrating the bond that exists between gardeners, beyond the miles, beyond the passing of time.
20 years ago, Heidi found this seedling in her garden in Alsace. A rose enthusiast and friend of André Eve, she naturally gave him a few eyes to graft. The rose went on to the Roses André Eve observation squares. And for reasons we don't know, it remained under observation. Jérôme showed it to Pascal Pinel, who fell in love with it. We did everything we could to track down the lost naissuse. And now, the christening has come full circle.
The Heidi H. rose is a shrub worthy of the most famous moschata, with a unique charm that is both elegant and natural.
It's a shrub about 1.50/2 m high and wider. Its vegetation is dense and supple. Its healthy, rather glossy, dark-green foliage sets off bouquets of medium-sized, double roses in shades of light pink to white. It reblooms and is very healthy. It tolerates part shade. Its fruits are orange.
