Théâtre des minuits is a company based in a large garden in La Neuville-sur-Essonne (45). 5 years ago, its directors asked André Ève to come and create a rose garden in which to plant all its creations*, a veritable conservatory. They also wanted a rose dedicated to their "big garden". It's now a reality. In early June, it was christened 'Mademoiselle des Minuits', recalling the privilege enjoyed by actresses - even in their prime - of always being called 'Mademoiselle'. This exceptional liana is a real star, attracting all eyes when in bloom, covering its support with an avalanche of deep-red flowers, but whose only small fault is that it doesn't remontante. To convince hesitant gardeners, André used to say: "Eleven months to dream about it, one month to enjoy it". Exceptionally vigorous, it will quickly cover an ungrateful wall or unsightly palisade, and its powerful vegetation is still very present even in winter, when it is leafless!
