We like to add to our collection of polyanthas on a regular basis, because of their qualities: repeat flowering, ease of cultivation in pots and resistance to disease. Our "new recruit", created by a great German hybridizer at the very end of the 19th century, has a very pleasant fragrance and a truly surprising color! The pretty, slightly bluish foliage is followed by waves of flowers, sometimes solitary or in small bunches, in shades of coppery orange and golden yellow, turning red as they fade. This ever-changing coloring makes it ideal for combining with many varieties of rose.
